1.Product description:

Geogrid is made of high-strength glass fiber industrial filaments, warp knitted and directionally woven grid fabric, and coated with PVC. It is applied to soft soil foundation treatment and reinforcement of subgrade, embankment and other projects to improve project quality and reduce project cost.

3.Application scenario:

It is used for reinforcement of soft soil foundations such as highways, railways, and water conservancy.




4.Construction specification:

1. Construction site: It is required to compact, level and level, and remove protruding points.
2. Grid laying: On a flat and compacted site, the main axis (longitudinal) direction of installing glass fiber geogrids should be perpendicular to the embankment axis direction, and should be as flat, wrinkle-free, and tight as possible. Fix with nails and earth rock pressure. The main force direction for laying glass fiber geogrid is the full length without joints. The connection between amplitude and amplitude can be manually bound and overlapped, and the overlapping width is not less than 10cm. If the grid has more than two layers, the layer between those layers should be the wrong one. After laying a large area, the overall smoothness should be adjusted. When filling soil, manual or mechanical stretching of the grid should be used again before rolling, and the strength should be uniform to make the grid in the soil stretch under force.
3. Selection of fillers: Fillers should be selected according to design requirements. Practice has proven that in addition to frozen soil, swamp soil, household garbage, chalk soil, diatomite, it can also be used as filler. However, the mechanical properties of gravel soil and sand soil are stable and less affected by water content, so priority should be given to them. The particle size of the filler should not be greater than 15cm, and attention should be paid to controlling the grading of the filler to ensure the compaction weight.
4. Filler paving and compaction: When the glass fiber geogrid is laid, it should be filled in time, and the exposure time should not exceed 48 hours. Alternatively, the flow operation method of backfilling during laying can be used. First spread the filler at both ends, fix the grille, and then push it into the middle. The order of scrolling is the first two edges, followed by the middle two edges. During rolling, the roller shall not be in direct contact with the reinforcement, and uncompacted reinforcement bodies are generally not allowed to be driven on it to avoid dislocation of the reinforcement. The layer compaction degree is 20-30cm. Compaction must meet the design requirements, which is also the key to the success of reinforced soil engineering.
5. Waterproof and drainage measures: reinforced soil engineering, drainage treatment inside and outside the wall; Foot protection and erosion prevention; If necessary, filter and drainage measures shall be provided in the soil mass.
