What is PP/PET filament nonwoven geotextile?
Geotextiles are weaving, non-woven or weaving methods that make fibers or yarns into continuous flat materials. Geotextiles are widely used in railways, highways, water conservancy, mining and metallurgy and environmental protection and other major projects related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and have important roles such as reinforcement, filtration, drainage, protection and separation. Geotextiles can be divided into filament geotextiles and short-filament geotextiles according to the length of their fibers, which are obtained by filament spunbond and staple fiber wrapping respectively. Compared with short-fiber geotextiles, the geotextiles prepared by filament spunbond have the characteristics of uniform texture, high tensile strength and high production efficiency.
Filament non-woven geotextile is a new type of building material used in civil engineering, which is laid into a network by filament fibers through different equipment and processes, and then intertwined with each other through acupuncture and moxibustion and other processes, so that different fibers are intertwined and fixed with each other, so that the fabric is standardized, and the fabric is soft, plump, thick and tough, so as to achieve different thicknesses and meet the requirements of use.
PP filament nonwoven geotextile have high chemical stability, strength and density, which makes them occupy an important position in water conservancy engineering, geotechnical engineering and geological environment engineering. And it has good acid and alkali resistance and freeze-thaw resistance, which makes it irreplaceable in engineering applications in acid-alkali environments and alpine regions. PET filament nonwoven geotextile has good mechanical properties, freeze-thaw resistance, and photo-oxidation aging resistance.

What are the basic properties of filament nonwoven geotextile?
1. It has the advantages of good tensile resistance, tear resistance, top burst resistance, puncture resistance and other mechanical strength.
2. It has good longitudinal and transverse drainage performance and good extension performance.
3. High chemical functions such as biological resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and aging resistance.
4. It has a wide pore size range, tortuous pore distribution, good permeability and filtration performance.
Application
What is filament nonwoven geotextile used for?
1) Reinforcement in the backfill of retaining walls, or panels for anchoring retaining walls.
2) Strengthen the flexible pavement, repair the cracks on the road, and prevent the pavement from reflecting cracks
3) Increase the stability of gravel slope and reinforced soil to prevent water loss and soil freezing damage at low temperature.
4) The filter layer of water wells, pressure reducing wells or bias pipes in water conservancy projects.
5) The isolation layer of the masonry fabric between the road, airport, railway slag and artificial rockfill and the foundation.
6) Drainage behind the impermeable geomembrane or the lower part of the concrete retaining surface in the earth dam or earth embankment.
