What is PP/PET short filament nonwoven geotextile?
Geotextiles have a variety of raw materials and processing techniques, making them very versatile. From the processing technology, geotextiles can be divided into four categories: woven geotextiles, non-woven geotextiles, synthetic geotextiles and composite geotextiles. Non-woven geotextile products have the largest application volume and the widest application field.
Among them, short filament nonwoven geotextile is made of polyester or polypropylene staple fiber by needle-punching consolidation, which has good mechanical properties that are uniform in all directions. At the same time, it has a wide range of pore size, tortuous pore distribution, excellent permeability and filtration performance, as well as high chemical stability properties such as biological resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and aging resistance.
PET short filament nonwoven geotextile has been widely used in major water conservancy, transportation and civil engineering due to its outstanding role in protection, reinforcement, seepage prevention and drainage. PP short filament nonwoven geotextile has high strength, low density, excellent low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, and also has good hydrophobic properties and wicking effect, making it have better drainage performance.

What are the basic properties of short filament nonwoven geotextile?
1. High strength: Due to the use of plastic fibers, it can maintain full strength and elongation in both dry and wet conditions.
2. Corrosion resistance: It can resist corrosion for a long time in soil and water with different pH degrees.
3. Good water permeability: It has a wide range of pore sizes and a tortuous pore distribution

Application
What is short filament nonwoven geotextile used for?
1) Pavement maintenance, reinforcement, isolation, filtration, drainage and prevention of reflection cracks of highways, bridges, railways, buildings, airports, etc.
2) Ground treatment and subgrade drainage of high-speed railways, highways and high-grade highways.
