What is Steel Plastic Geogrid?
Geogrids are divided into four categories: plastic geogrids, steel-plastic geogrids, fiberglass geogrids and polyester warp knitted polyester geogrids. The grid is a two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid with a certain height made of polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and other polymer polymers by thermoplastic or molding, and when used as a civil engineering, it is called a geogrid.
What are the basic features of steel plastic geogrid?
1. High strength, low creep, adaptable to all kinds of environmental soil, can fully meet the use of tall retaining walls in high-grade highways.
2. It can effectively improve the interlocking and occlusion of the reinforced bearing surface, greatly enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation, effectively restrain the lateral displacement of the soil, and enhance the stability of the foundation.
3. Compared with the traditional grille, it has the characteristics of high strength, strong bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, anti-aging, large friction coefficient, uniform eyelets, convenient construction and long service life.
4. It is more suitable for deep-sea operations and embankment reinforcement, and fundamentally solves the technical problems of low strength, poor corrosion resistance and short service life caused by long-term erosion of gabion made of other materials due to seawater erosion.
5. It can effectively avoid the construction damage caused by the crushing and destruction of the machine during the construction process.
What is steel plastic geogrid used for?
It can be used for highways, railways, embankments, abutments, construction sidewalks, wharves, bank revetments, flood control embankments, dams, tidal flat treatment, freight yards, slag yards, airports, sports fields, environmental protection buildings, soft soil foundation reinforcement, retaining walls, slope protection and pavement resistance and other civil engineering projects.
