What is TPO waterproofing membrane?
TPO waterproofing membrane is a kind of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) material that combines ethylene propylene (EP) rubber and polypropylene with advanced polymerization technology as the base material, and is composed of polyester fiber mesh fabric as the carcass reinforcement material, and is made of advanced processing technology.
Product Classification:
1. TPO coil is a combination of ethylene propylene rubber and polypropylene using advanced polymerization technology, which combines the excellent weather resistance and durability of ethylene propylene rubber with the weldability of polypropylene.
2. Special formulation technology, no need to add any plasticizer that is easy to make the material brittle, which can not only have high flexibility, but also will not produce the phenomenon that the general polyolefin material becomes brittle due to the migration of plasticizers, and maintain long-term waterproof function.
3. There is a layer of polyester fiber fabric sandwiched in the middle, which provides high tensile performance, fatigue resistance, puncture resistance of the coil, and is suitable for mechanical fixed roofing system.
4. Excellent high and low temperature resistance, flexibility at -40°C, mechanical strength and chemical resistance at higher temperatures, corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, animal oils, vegetable oils, lubricating oils, and microbial growth resistance such as algae and mold.
5. Heat-resistant aging, good dimensional stability.
6. Light color mainly white, smooth surface, high reflectivity, energy-saving effect and pollution resistance.
7. There is no chlorinated polymer or ammonia in the composition, and there is no chlorine release during welding and use, which is harmless to the environment and human health.
8. The lap joint is thermally welded to form a high-strength sealing layer.
What is TPO waterproofing membrane used for?
1. This product is suitable for building exposed or non-exposed roof waterproofing layer, and easily deformed building underground waterproofing.
2. Exposed TPO waterproofing membrane can be applied to light steel structure roofing, with reasonable hierarchical design and qualified construction quality, which not only reduces the weight of the roof, but also has excellent energy-saving effect.
3. It can also be waterproof and anti-condensation, and is the preferred waterproof material for roofs such as large industrial plants and public buildings.
