Application:
1. Suitable for enhancing the roadbed and pavement of various highways, railways, and airports.
2. Suitable for permanent bearing foundation reinforcement in large parking lots and dock freight yards.
3. Suitable for slope protection of railways and highways.
4. Applicable culvert reinforcement.
5. Suitable for secondary reinforcement of soil slopes after unidirectional tensile geogrid reinforcement, further enhancing the soil slope and preventing soil erosion. Reinforcement of mines and tunnels
1.Product description:
Unidirectional plastic geogrid is a geogrid made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw material, which is plasticized, extruded, punched, heated, and stretched into a regular mesh, followed by longitudinal stretching. Generally used for laying in soil, through the meshing and interlocking action between the grid mesh and the soil, an efficient stress transmission mechanism is formed, enabling local loads to quickly and effectively diffuse into a large area of soil, thereby achieving the goal of reducing local failure stress and improving the service life of the project.
2.Main Features
1. Strengthening the roadbed can effectively distribute the diffusion load, improve the stability and bearing capacity of the roadbed, and extend its service life;
2. Can withstand greater alternating loads; 3. Prevent subgrade deformation and cracking caused by loss of subgrade materials;
4. Improve the self supporting capacity of filling behind the retaining wall, reduce the earth pressure on the retaining wall, save costs, extend the service life, and reduce maintenance costs;
5. Combining the construction method of shotcrete and anchor concrete for slope maintenance can not only save 30-50% of the investment, but also shorten the construction period by more than twice;
Adding geogrids to the subgrade and surface layers of highways can reduce deflection, reduce rutting, delay the occurrence of cracks by 3-9 times, and reduce the thickness of structural layers by up to 36%;
7. Suitable for various soils, without the need for materials from different places, saving labor and time;
8. The construction is simple and fast, which can greatly reduce the construction cost.
3.Application scenario:
Mainly used for retaining walls, abutments, steep slope projects, etc;
Retaining walls and abutments are load-bearing structures that bear all external loads: active earth pressure, dynamic loads on the upper part of the structure, and thermal stresses. Reinforced materials are subjected to long-term high tension, as well as repeated dynamic loads, resulting in fatigue in the molecular structure of the material, which attenuates its performance, and accelerates the aging of the grid. In order to avoid large deformation of the structure due to the creep of reinforced materials, unidirectional plastic geogrids made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) should be selected.
4.Construction specification:
When used for subgrade and pavement, the construction method is the same as that of two-way geogrids.
When used for reinforced earth retaining walls, the construction method is as follows:
1. Set up a foundation and construct it according to the designed wall system. When using prefabricated reinforced concrete panels, they are generally supported on a prefabricated concrete foundation with a thickness of 12-15cm. Its width shall not be greater than 30 cm, its thickness shall not be less than 20 cm, and its buried depth shall not be less than 60 cm to prevent the impact of frost heave on the foundation.
2. Leveling the wall foundation, excavating and leveling according to the design requirements. Soft soil needs to be compacted or replaced, and compacted to the required density, which should be slightly beyond the scope of the wall.
3. When laying reinforcement, the main strength direction of the reinforcement should be perpendicular to the wall surface and fixed with pins.
4. The wall shall be filled with machinery, and the distance between the wheel and the reinforcement shall be maintained at least 15 cm. After compaction, a layer of soil is about 20-15cm thick.
During wall construction, the wall should be wrapped with geotextile to prevent soil leakage
