What is chopped carbon fiber?

Chopped carbon fiber refers to the carbon fiber with high strength and high modulus, which is processed into bundles by bundler selected according to the purpose, and then cut into specified lengths. It is mainly used for reinforcing composites of thermoplastic resins.

Compared with carbon fiber filament, it can be more evenly dispersed in the matrix material.
