The production process of carbon fiber sheet
1.Cutting of prepreg
The specifications of carbon fiber sheet are different, the staff need to cut the carbon fiber prepreg according to the required size, and determine the number of layers of prepreg required according to the thickness of the plate, the greater the thickness of the plate, the more the prepreg needs to be stacked.
2.Lay-up of prepreg
At the time of production, it is changed at any time according to the demand for tensile force and strength of carbon fiber sheet. The common layering direction is 0°, ±45°, 90, and the layering direction and layering sequence of carbon fiber prepreg can be reasonably designed. The Angle orientation is selected according to the type of load required to maximize the axial performance of the fiber.
3.Die curing
The folded carbon fiber sheet is closed and placed into the press to adjust the temperature, time and pressure to the appropriate state. The mold temperature is high, the fluidity of the resin is better, and the curing speed is accelerated, but the temperature is too high, which will cause the inner and outer layer materials to cure differently, making the products swollen and deformed. If the temperature is too low, the strength of the product will be low. The pressure can close the mold and densify the material to ensure the material flow. Sufficient holding time can cure the product better.
